Leg 4 of the tour consist of family/friends bonding time and of course meeting locals!
I got to visit Chris’s family and his cute niece(and Hugo <3), and have a short break in Kassel while doing some sightseeing to the breathtaking Bergpark!
I had my first couchsurfing experience with Miriam and Fleming, we had a great time cooking and chatting about our travels and my travel philosophy!
I also met up with Viktor through couchsurfing and got to had a delicious Vietnamese meal and talk about TAIWAN!!!
Staying with Anthony(my middle school best friend) and his brother is one of my highlights in the trip, I enjoyed our time together trying to go through the hottest days in Berlin! And I really enjoyed cooking meals for the Lee brothers!
Anthony and I decided to go to Stralsund with the Deutsche Bahn promotional ticket to northern Germany! And we randomly chose a town in between to get off for a short visit and lunch, it’s a college town called Greifswald. We enjoyed our lunch there and took many pictures with its charming old town scape!
I had my second couchsurfing experience with Anthony and Lucas, and this time I’m actually sleeping on a couch which was fun and comfy! Lucas lives right in the center of the old town and we became the loyal customer of the Café he works at because of the food there was phenomenal!
Anthony and I loved our stay with Lucas, and fell in love with this charming coastal town, Stralsund. We also took the train to Rugen, the biggest island in Germany, and we went to the nicest beach I’ve ever been to in my entire life, which is recommend by Lucas, our “LOCAL” host!
Meeting up with my CEP cohort Caitlyn in Berlin was so cool that makes the end of my Berlin trip so special and magical!
Thanks to the great people I’ve met and stayed with whom makes Meaningful Meanders: the Tour Leg 4 so unforgettable and meaningful!
